Service Description

We welcome clients utilising Medicare funding pathways to help offset the cost of speech pathology services. Under the Chronic Condition Management Plan (CCMP)—formerly known as the EPC plan—clients with complex, long-term needs lasting six months or longer can access up to 5 Medicare-rebated allied health sessions per calendar year (with a current rebate of $61.80 per session = $173.20/hour gap fee). For children and young adults under the age of 25, Medicare also offers the highly comprehensive Complex Neurodevelopmental Conditions and Eligible Disabilities (M10) pathway. This pathway has been significantly expanded to cover conditions such as Autism, ADHD, stuttering, developmental delays, cleft conditions, and speech sound disorders. With a valid referral from a GP, pediatrician, or specialist, eligible clients can claim a lifetime allocation of up to 8 assessment sessions and up to 20 treatment sessions (with a current rebate of $87.25 per session = $147.75/hour gap fee), providing substantial long-term financial relief for targeted therapy.
