What we believe

LOGO PNG C1.png

We believe that every child and teenager deserves a therapeutic environment that honours their unique neurodevelopment, catering to their learning style and incorporating their specific interests. This practice integrates neuroaffirming principles with rigorous evidence-based practices to ensure that speech, language, and literacy assessments and therapy are not only effective but deeply respectful of the individual and family needs. We focus on building confidence and functional communication skills through a nurturing, child-friendly approach tailored to the needs of children aged 4-18.

Meet your Speech Pathologist

Natalie Young

Natalie has 25+ years experience as a Speech Language Pathologist working with children.  She has worked in the Health sector and spent 26 years with the Department of Education Queensland, assisting children and educators in identifying speech, language and literacy difficulties, enhancing learning outcomes and maximising access to the curriculum for students.

Natalie has a wealth of knowledge in assessing and treating children who have special needs in communication and learning.  She has 2 children of her own (now young adults) so knows how to engage children, make them feel safe, happy and comfortable, as well as supporting them to be more confident when they find things challenging.

Natalie loves walking her Pugs and daughter's Kelpie on the beach, doing jigsaw puzzles, going to the movies and eating brunch with her husband Shane on the weekends!
